Sara Barbieri
She is an external expert at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and she has worked as an analyst at the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) since 2021. Sara completed an International Master's Degree in Research and Interdisciplinary Studies on Eastern Europe (MIREES) and a Doctorate in Contemporary History at the University of San Marino. She then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Politics, Institutions and History at the University of Bologna and, before that, for the Institute for Central Eastern and Balkan Europe in Forli. In 2014, she began her international career by landing in Skopje with the OSCE, and then continued in Georgia with the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) with which she participated in the negotiations for the resolution of the 2008 Russian-Georgian war.
