What is it about?
“Building the EU” is an interactive workshop entirely in English that simulates the process of a country joining the European Union.
Participants will step into the heart of EU accession negotiations and engage with key topics such as:
The Copenhagen Criteria.
Rule of law and fundamental rights.
Economic and environmental reforms.
The role of EU institutions.
Political compromise and European governance.

Guest Speakers
SUSANNA VILLANI: Researcher in EU Law at the Department of Legal Studies, holds a PhD from UNED and specializes in EU constitutional law, enlargement policy, and the rule of law.
GIULIA MAIO: PhD Candidate in EU Law at the Department of Legal Studies, focuses her research on EU integration and rule of law issues.
